Scene: Ascetics steadfast in vows worship the radiant Devī as Parā-Śakti; their austerity ‘burns’ karmic bonds, shown as loosened chains dissolving into light.
When vows and austerity are directed to the Supreme Goddess, they culminate not merely in worldly success but in freedom from karmic bondage.
Arbuda-khaṇḍa’s sacred region, where Devī-worship is portrayed as granting karmic release.
Pūjā of Devī/Parā Śakti supported by vrata and tapas as a soteriological (moksha-oriented) discipline.
