पुनंति सर्वतीर्थानि स्नानदानादिकैर्यथा । अर्बुदो दर्शनादेव सर्वपापहरो नृणाम्
punaṃti sarvatīrthāni snānadānādikairyathā | arbudo darśanādeva sarvapāpaharo nṛṇām
正如诸tīrtha以沐浴、布施等而净化众生,阿尔布达亦然——仅凭一见(darśana,瞻礼)便能除去人间一切罪垢。
Sūta (narrative voice; implied)
Tirtha: Arbuda
Type: kshetra
Listener: Ṛṣis
Scene: Pilgrims behold Mount Arbuda from a vantage point; a beam of sanctifying light flows from the mountain to the onlookers, while icons of snāna (river), dāna (offering), and pūjā appear as secondary motifs, indicating Arbuda’s superiority by darśana alone.
Certain supremely holy places confer purification simply through reverent visitation (darśana).
Arbuda (Arbuda-parvata/region) is praised as uniquely sin-destroying.
Snāna (bathing) and dāna (charity) are referenced as common tīrtha-practices; Arbuda’s special emphasis is darśana.
