नारद उवाच । केदाराद्धिमसंयुक्तं योजनानां शतं स्मृतम् । तदंते योजनशतं विस्तृतं तत्कलापकम्
nārada uvāca | kedārāddhimasaṃyuktaṃ yojanānāṃ śataṃ smṛtam | tadaṃte yojanaśataṃ vistṛtaṃ tatkalāpakam
那罗陀说道:“从凯达拉起,有一段充满积雪、长达百由旬的路程被传述。其尽头之外,是卡拉帕迦,又延展百由旬。”
Nārada
Tirtha: Kalāpaka (beyond Kedāra)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Arjuna
Scene: A sweeping white expanse of snow stretching beyond Kedāra; tiny pilgrims traverse the vastness; in the far distance, a sheltered valley-city labeled Kalāpaka spreads wide, suggesting a hidden, protected realm.
The Purāṇa maps sacred space to inspire faith-filled endurance—holy lands are reached through perseverance.
Kedāra is the anchor tīrtha; Kalāpaka is presented as a further sacred expanse beyond the snowy route.
None here; the verse provides pilgrimage geography and distances (yojana measures).
