vajrapaṃjara nāmaitatstotraṃ durgāpraśaṃsanam | etatstotrakṛtatrāṇe vajrādapi bhayaṃ nahi
此赞颂杜尔迦女神之圣赞名为“金刚笼(Vajrapaṃjara)”。为此颂所护持者,无所畏惧,纵使金刚雷霆亦不惧。
Durgā (Devī)
Tirtha: Vajrapañjara-stotra (Kāśī tradition)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devotee/practitioner; broader Kāśī audience within the Purāṇic dialogue frame
Scene: The hymn is formally named ‘Vajrapañjara’; a devotee under its protection stands fearless even before a descending thunderbolt, which dissolves into light at the boundary of Devī’s protective field.
Devotional protection is depicted as stronger than worldly threats, producing fearlessness through divine grace.
The teaching is preserved in the Kāśī Khaṇḍa corpus that glorifies Kāśī as a locus of liberating and protective dharma.
Using this Durgā-stotra as one’s trāṇa (protective safeguard).
