Transliteration

āmauliṃ vā'lalāṭaṃvā'nāsamūrdhvapramāṇataḥ | brahmakṣatraviśāṃ daṃḍastvagāḍhyonāgnidūṣitaḥ

Translation

其长度应至头顶，或至额前，或至少至自鼻以上的高度。婆罗门、刹帝利与吠舍之杖应坚实粗壮，不可为火所污损，即不可焦灼破坏。
