शिवस्य विश्वव्याप्तिः—अष्टमूर्तिः पञ्चब्रह्म च | Śiva’s Cosmic Pervasion: Aṣṭamūrti and the Pañcabrahma Forms
भूम्यंभोग्निमरुद्व्योमक्षेत्रज्ञार्कनिशाकराः । अधिष्ठिता महेशस्य शर्वाद्यैरष्टमूर्तिभिः । चराचरात्मकं विश्वं धत्ते विश्वंभरात्मिका । शार्वीर्शिवाह्वया मूर्तिरिति शास्त्रस्य निश्चयः
bhūmyaṃbhognimarudvyomakṣetrajñārkaniśākarāḥ | adhiṣṭhitā maheśasya śarvādyairaṣṭamūrtibhiḥ | carācarātmakaṃ viśvaṃ dhatte viśvaṃbharātmikā | śārvīrśivāhvayā mūrtiriti śāstrasya niścayaḥ
大地、水、火、风、虚空、田知者（Kṣetrajña，内在觉知之我）、太阳与月亮——这一切皆由大自在天（Mahēśa）以自“舍婆（Śarva）”等八相而主宰。凭借那遍持万有的力量，整个宇宙——动者与不动者——得以维系。经典确证：此即“舍婆丽（Śārvī）”之相，亦名“湿婆（Śiva）”。
