听闻我此事迹,并以忆念将此灵伽安住于心者,凡人入于战场,必得胜利——毫无疑虑。
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahadeva
Significance: Internalized liṅga-smaraṇa (hṛdi smṛtvā) is treated as a portable tīrtha: it grants siddhi in peril (battle), implying Śiva’s protective presence beyond fixed shrines.
Type: stotra
Role: liberating
The verse teaches that śravaṇa (hearing Shiva’s sacred narrative) and smaraṇa (steady remembrance) establish Shiva’s presence within the devotee; from that inner refuge arises fearlessness and assured success, reflecting the Shaiva Siddhanta ideal of grace through devotion.
It presents the Liṅga not only as an external object of worship but as an inner focus—‘this Liṅga in the heart’—showing Saguna upāsanā (devotional worship with form) culminating in inward contemplation where Shiva is felt as the indwelling Lord.
Practice listening/reciting Shiva’s līlā (caritra), then meditate by placing the Shiva Liṅga in the heart through japa and dhyāna—especially with the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—before undertaking difficult or dangerous duties.
