मुनेः शिष्यैः प्रशिष्यैश्च व्याप्तमासीद्द्रुतं तदा । महामायाविनस्तत्तु त्रिपुरं सकलं मुने
muneḥ śiṣyaiḥ praśiṣyaiśca vyāptamāsīddrutaṃ tadā | mahāmāyāvinastattu tripuraṃ sakalaṃ mune
圣者啊,不多时,三城之特里普拉(Tripura)尽被那牟尼之弟子与再传弟子充满、遍覆——皆为善使大幻力(Mahā-Māyā)之人,散布于三城各处。

It highlights how māyā can rapidly pervade and dominate an entire realm—symbolically, the mind and world of the bound soul (paśu). In Shaiva Siddhanta, liberation requires Shiva’s grace to transcend such māyic coverings.
Tripura’s māyā-driven expansion contrasts with the stabilizing refuge of Saguna Shiva worship—especially the Linga—where devotion and surrender invite Shiva’s anugraha (grace) that cuts through māyā and restores dharma.
A practical takeaway is japa of the Panchakshara mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with steady dhyāna on Shiva as Pati (the Lord beyond māyā), supported by Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrāksha as reminders of non-attachment and purity.
