诸天说道:“噢,赫利希凯沙(Hṛṣīkeśa),大臂之主;噢,薄伽梵摩度苏达那(Madhusūdana)!顶礼于你,诸神之主,摧灭一切阿修罗者。”

It shows the Devas taking refuge in divine guardianship through humble praise and surrender—an essential bhakti posture that, in Shaiva understanding, ultimately points to grace (anugraha) as the power that restores dharma and removes demonic (tamasic) obstruction.
Though addressed to Vishnu, the verse reflects Saguna devotion—approaching the Divine with names, attributes, and praise. In Shaiva Siddhanta, such devotion is a valid means to purify the soul; ultimately, the highest refuge is Pati (Shiva), whose grace is sought in Linga worship and mantra-japa.
The takeaway is śaraṇāgati (taking refuge) expressed as namaskāra and nāma-smaraṇa (repetition of divine names). Practically, one may combine prostration with japa—especially the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—to cultivate protection, steadiness, and inner victory over negative tendencies.
