It presents creation as a dharmic, ordered unfolding: through the sages’ household life, beings arise and the worlds become populated, showing that righteous living can support spiritual accomplishment rather than oppose it.
In the Sṛṣṭikhaṇḍa, worldly order and lineage are portrayed as operating under Śiva’s cosmic governance; honoring Saguna Shiva through Linga worship sustains dharma, which in turn stabilizes society and supports seekers (sādhakas) on the path.
A practical takeaway is to uphold grihastha-dharma with daily Śiva-pūjā—especially japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and respectful remembrance of rishis/gurus—so worldly duties become a support for sādhana.
