It teaches that strength becomes auspicious when grounded in inner remembrance of Pati—Maheśvara—so action (even battle) is purified by dhyāna and devotion rather than ego.
The verse highlights Saguna upāsanā through personal contemplation of Maheśvara in the heart; this inner focus parallels Linga-worship, where the devotee centers mind and prāṇa on Śiva as the present Lord.
Hṛdaya-dhyāna (meditating on Śiva within) before any undertaking—optionally supported by japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and traditional Shaiva aids like bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa for steadiness of mind.
