“迦梨迦啊!”——她如此呼唤并走近。你这位肤色相近的女伴也来到此处。她望见对方将要离去时,因情绪激荡,那高耸而大胆的双乳分外显现。

It portrays intense human emotion within a sacred narrative, showing how attachment, separation, and devotion arise in embodied life—states that, when offered to Shiva with bhakti, are gradually purified into steadiness on the path toward liberation.
Though the verse is narrative and not a direct instruction, the Sati Khanda frames such emotions around Shiva-centered devotion; in Saguna Shiva worship (including the Linga), worldly feelings are redirected into reverent remembrance and surrender to Pati (Shiva).
A practical takeaway is to convert emotional agitation into japa of the Panchakshara—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—and steady the mind with simple Shiva-dhyana, optionally supported by Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrāksha as Shaiva aids to recollection.
