Hymn to Devī Yogānidrā and the Manifestation of Caṇḍikā
Vishnu
Tattva Level: pati
It declares Śiva as the supreme Pati who is untouched by māyā (delusion) and established in nirvikalpa reality; therefore attempts to “delude” Him are ultimately futile and only reveal His transcendence.
While devotees may approach Śiva through saguna forms such as the Liṅga for devotion and grace, this verse points to His ultimate nirguna nature—nirvikalpaka and nirmoha—showing that the form worshipped is a doorway to the formless Absolute.
Meditate on Śiva as nirvikalpa (beyond thought) through japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” supported by Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as aids to steady devotion and inner detachment from moha.
