今日是我离开尊贵外祖父府邸后的第七夜。母亲之父安好,我的舅父友陀阇亦安好,父亲。
This is the seventh night since I left my noble grandsire's residence. My mother's father, king of Kekaya and my maternal uncle Yudhajit are doing well.
Satya within dharma: Bharata gives precise, accountable information (time elapsed, welfare of relatives), modeling truthful speech as a moral duty.
Bharata answers Kaikeyi’s questions, stating how long he has been away and confirming the well-being of the Kekaya relatives.
Integrity and clarity in speech—Bharata’s careful, factual reporting reflects disciplined character.
