Bharata Meets the Messengers; Kekaya King Grants Leave
पुरोहितस्त्वां कुशलं प्राह सर्वे च मन्त्रिणः।त्वरमाणश्च निर्याहि कृत्यमात्ययिकं त्वया।।2.70.3।।
purohitastvāṁ kuśalaṁ prāha sarve ca mantriṇaḥ |
tvaramāṇaś ca niryāhi kṛtyam ātyayikaṁ tvayā ||2.70.3||
家族祭司与诸大臣皆问候你的安泰。你当速速归来;有一桩紧急之事须由你亲自办理。
All the wealth given by the king of Kekaya did not delight Bharata, son of Kaikeyi who was in a hurry to depart for Ayodhya.
Dharma here is prompt responsibility: when an urgent public or familial duty calls, one should not delay, but respond with readiness and discipline.
Bharata is in Kekaya; messengers from Ayodhya reach him and urge immediate return because an urgent matter awaits.
Bharata’s sense of duty and responsiveness to rightful summons, reflecting reliability in matters of family and state.
