अयोध्याकाण्डे द्विषष्टितमः सर्गः
Kausalyā consoles Daśaratha; grief, remorse, and nightfall
तं हि चिन्तयमानाया श्शोकोऽयं हृदि वर्धते।नदीनामिव वेगेन समुद्रसलिलं महत्।।।।
taṃ hi cintayamānāyāḥ śoko 'yaṃ hṛdi vardhate | nadīnām iva vegena samudra-salilaṃ mahat ||
我越是思念他,这忧伤便在我心中愈加增长——如同浩瀚大海,因诸河奔涌之势而愈发涨满。
When he regained his senses, the king heaved deep, hot sighs. Seeing Kausalya by his side he relapsed into a state of anxiety.
It highlights satya in emotional expression: dharma is supported by honesty about suffering, enabling compassionate response rather than denial.
Kausalyā describes the intensifying nature of her grief whenever she dwells on Rāma.
