Sumantra Meets Rama; Rama Departs to See the King
लाभो जनस्यास्य यदेष सर्वंप्रपत्स्यते राष्ट्रमिदं चिराय।न ह्यप्रियं किञ्चन जातु कश्चित्पश्येन्न दुःखं मनुजाधिपेऽस्मिन्।।।।
lābho janasyāsya yad eṣa sarvaṃ prapatsyate rāṣṭram idaṃ cirāya |
na hy apriyaṃ kiñcana jātu kaścit paśyen na duḥkhaṃ manujādhipe 'smin ||
若他长久统御此整个国度,便是此民众真正的福分;在这位人间之主治下,无人会见到任何不悦之事,也不会遭受忧苦。
This scion of the Raghus (Rama) is going to acquire the earth and the wealth today by the king's grace. He will be our protector and fulfil all our desires.
