FAQs

It sacralizes food (anna) by identifying it with Viṣṇu and reminds that embodied life (the Self in worldly experience) depends upon food for sustenance.

By declaring food to be Viṣṇu Himself, it encourages reverence, gratitude, and purity in eating—treating nourishment as a form of divine presence.

Eat with mindfulness and respect: honor food, avoid waste, and recognize nourishment as sacred since life is maintained through it.
