Glory of Prayaga and the Magha Bath at Triveni
स्नात्वैव ब्रह्मणो विष्णोः शिवस्य च पुरं व्रजेत् । सितासिते तु यत्स्नानं माघमासे सुलोचने ॥ ७० ॥
snātvaiva brahmaṇo viṣṇoḥ śivasya ca puraṃ vrajet | sitāsite tu yatsnānaṃ māghamāse sulocane || 70 ||
沐浴之后,当往梵天(Brahmā)、毗湿奴(Viṣṇu)以及湿婆(Śiva)的圣所而行。噢,美目者啊,于摩伽月(Māgha)在白分与黑分两半月中所行之浴,功德尤为殊胜。

It links tirtha-snāna (purificatory bathing) with pilgrimage to major deva-kshetras, teaching that Māgha-month bathing—through both lunar fortnights—greatly amplifies merit and inner purification.
By directing the devotee to approach the abodes of Viṣṇu (along with Brahmā and Śiva) after ritual purity through bathing, it frames bhakti as disciplined worship supported by tīrtha practice and sacred time (Māgha).
Kalpa-oriented ritual timing is implied: observance by lunar fortnights (śukla/kṛṣṇa pakṣa) and the sacred month Māgha, reflecting practical dharma-ritual scheduling rather than grammar or astrology proper.
