胜利归于你,莲叶般双眼的主;胜利归于你,执持神轮与神杵者。胜利归于你,青雨云般幽黑者;胜利归于你,赐予一切安乐吉祥者。
Devotees/pilgrims (stuti within the Uttara-bhāga tirtha-mahātmya narration; traditionally framed by Sūta relating the Purāṇa)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It is a Viṣṇu-stuti that concentrates the devotee’s mind on the Lord’s auspicious form and attributes—His compassionate gaze, divine weapons that protect dharma, and His role as the bestower of well-being—making it a direct aid to devotion and inner steadiness.
It models bhakti through praise (stuti) and remembrance of Viṣṇu’s names and epithets; repeating these qualities is a practical form of nāma-smaraṇa that nurtures surrender and trust in the Lord as sarva-sukha-prada (giver of all good).
Primarily Śikṣā (correct recitation) and Vyākaraṇa (clear word-forms/compounds like padma-palāśākṣa) are relevant, since accurate chanting and understanding of epithets strengthens stotra-based worship in Purāṇic practice.
