在此事上,亲爱的啊,人们传闻有一则古老的圣传。亲爱的,我将为你叙说——请专心聆听我。
Narrator (Purana speaker addressing a listener, introducing an itihasa)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It establishes śravaṇa (attentive listening) as the gateway to receiving dharmic and tirtha-related teachings, framing the coming section as an authoritative ancient itihāsa.
By emphasizing careful listening to sacred narration, it points to śravaṇa as a foundational bhakti practice through which devotion and understanding mature.
No specific Vedāṅga is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is disciplined śravaṇa—listening with attention—needed for correctly grasping purāṇic instruction and ritual/tīrtha guidance.
