Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada, within Vedanga/ritual guidance context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches disciplined, time-aligned worship: offering specific flowers on specific weekdays as an aid to steadiness (niyama) and reverence (ādara) in devotion to one’s iṣṭa-devatā.
Bhakti here is expressed through attentive service—simple but precise offerings made with care—showing that devotion is strengthened by consistent, respectful daily/weekly observances.
It reflects Jyotiṣa-oriented ritual timing (weekday-based prescriptions) and Kalpa-style procedural guidance for pūjā—matching offerings to particular vāras (days).
