Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a technical-ritual context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes that ritual efficacy depends on both sincere worship (pūjā) and correct timing (kāla), showing the Purana’s technical stance that means and time jointly shape results.
Bhakti appears here as disciplined worship: devotion is expressed through careful offerings and observance of prescribed times, integrating reverence with precise ritual conduct.
Kāla-niyama (time-determination) is central—aligned with Jyotiṣa-style timing for rites—along with dravya-niyama (selection of ritual materials) for specific intended outcomes.
