Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada on ritual-dāna phalas)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents the dharmic principle of yajña and dāna-phala: specific sacred offerings, performed with proper intent and rite, are said to yield corresponding results, emphasizing order (ṛta) and disciplined ritual action.
While primarily ritual-focused, it supports bhakti indirectly by framing offerings as acts of sacred surrender; the devotee learns to consecrate possessions (ghee, fuel, livestock) through worship, aligning material life with reverence.
Ritual procedure and offering-substances (yajña-dravya) with stated outcomes—knowledge aligned with Kalpa (the Vedāṅga dealing with ritual rules and applications).
