Narada (teaching in a ritual/technical context within Book 1.3)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
It emphasizes ritual protection and order: invoking Gaṇeśa and guardian deities (Baṭuka, Kṣetrapāla, Yoginīs) and stationing Indra and others externally forms a sacred boundary so the rite proceeds without obstacles.
Bhakti here is expressed as disciplined worship—honoring specific deities in their proper places and functions, showing reverence, surrender, and care for purity and protection of the sacred act.
It reflects applied ritual procedure—mandala/āvaraṇa arrangement and devatā placement (a technical, practice-oriented instruction aligned with kalpa-style ritual know-how).
