Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in Vedanga/technical instruction mode)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
It emphasizes that spiritual and ritual efficacy depends on disciplined preparation (beginning correctly) and exact execution—especially correct recitation—so that the intended siddhi is not lost through carelessness.
While technical in tone, it supports bhakti by insisting that devotional recitation (japa) must be attentive and faithful to tradition; devotion is strengthened when practice is careful, reverent, and rule-aligned rather than casual.
It points to Śikṣā/Vyākaraṇa-type concerns: correct phonetics (e.g., long vowels like ‘ā’), paired sounds/syllables, and maintaining the prescribed sequence—key elements for accurate mantra pronunciation and ritual recitation.
