नारद उवाच । कार्तवीर्यतप्रभृतयो नृपा बहुविधा भुवि । जायंतेऽथ प्रलीयंते स्वस्वकर्मानुसारतः ॥ १ ॥
nārada uvāca | kārtavīryataprabhṛtayo nṛpā bahuvidhā bhuvi | jāyaṃte'tha pralīyaṃte svasvakarmānusārataḥ || 1 ||
那罗陀说道：在大地之上，诸般国王——从迦尔塔维里亚（Kartavīrya）等开始——随各自之业而生，又随各自之业而逝。
