Narada (in teaching mode within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It functions as a phala-śruti: it affirms that sincere performance of the prescribed dharmic discipline yields both worldly fulfillment (artha, prajā) and upliftment through auspicious merit, portrayed as blessings surpassing even divine attainments.
By presenting results as “even difficult for the gods,” the verse underscores the power of faithful practice—typical of bhakti-infused dharma—where dedicated observance and reverence make grace accessible beyond ordinary capability.
The verse reflects the Vedāṅga-style framing of practice and result (vidhi–phala): disciplined observance, correct procedure, and merit-based outcomes—an approach aligned with ritual science and technical dharma instruction found in Book 1.3.
