Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents mantra and homa as dharmic “prayoga” (applied sacred technique), where spiritual power is directed toward roga-śānti (pacifying disease) through consecration and offering.
Though technical, the act of mantra-consecration and homa presumes faith and surrender to sacred sound and Vedic order—an applied form of devotion expressed through disciplined ritual practice.
Ritual procedure (homa) and mantra-prayoga are emphasized, alongside the practical integration of medicinal substances (auṣadha) within Vedic rites—typical of Book 1.3’s technical orientation.
