当以专注之心,将涂以檀香膏的茉莉花如法投入火供;又以莲花作供,以令国王归顺于己,并成就财宝、谷粮及相关的兴盛。
Narada (teaching in a technical/ritual context, as part of Vedanga-oriented instructions)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents a technical homa-prayoga where specific pure substances (sandal-anointed jasmine, lotus) are linked to intended results, emphasizing disciplined focus (samāhita) as essential for any ritual efficacy.
Bhakti is not explicitly taught here; the verse belongs to a technical section (Book 1.3) showing how ritual discipline and purity of offerings are applied for worldly aims, which in the Purāṇic framework are ideally subordinated to dharma and devotion.
It reflects Kalpa-style ritual application (prayoga) within Vedanga-oriented material: selecting prescribed dravyas (offerings) for homa and performing them with mental concentration to target specific siddhis.
