Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents Hari as simultaneously compassionate and protective: He grants auspiciousness to bhaktas while destroying demonic forces, teaching that divine grace and divine justice operate together.
By calling the Lord ‘priyaṅkara’ for devotees, it emphasizes that sincere devotion draws the Lord’s favor and guardianship, making Him the fulfiller of what is spiritually beneficial and dear to the devotee.
While not a technical Vedanga rule, the verse functions like stotra-language used in ritual recitation (prayoga): precise epithets and imagery are employed for dhyāna and devotional chanting within Vedic-style worship.
