Narada (in a devotional invocation within the Adhyaya’s instructional flow)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It functions as a protective stotra that concentrates the mind on the Lord as universal refuge—invoking Nṛsiṃha’s safeguarding power while affirming the deity’s boundless compassion and sovereignty.
Bhakti is shown through intimate address, praise of divine qualities (guṇa-kīrtana), and a direct prayer for protection (śaraṇāgati), making devotion a practical act of taking refuge rather than mere theory.
The verse demonstrates mantra-style construction used in stotra recitation—precise epithets, vocatives, and compact compounds (samāsa), reflecting applied Vyākaraṇa (grammar) and Chandas-aware poetic discipline for ritual/recital use.
