Mahāviṣṇu-Mantras: Aṣṭākṣarī, Sudarśana-Astra, Nyāsa Systems, Āvaraṇa-Pūjā, and Prayogas
हुं फट् स्वाहा च खङ्गाय नमः खङ्गार्चने मनुः । महाकौमोदकीत्यन्ते वदेञ्चैव महाबले ॥ १९२ ॥
huṃ phaṭ svāhā ca khaṅgāya namaḥ khaṅgārcane manuḥ | mahākaumodakītyante vadeñcaiva mahābale || 192 ||
“吽(huṁ)”、“啪吒(phaṭ)”与“娑嚩诃(svāhā)”——并加上“向圣剑致敬(namaḥ)”——此即供奉宝剑之真言。末了亦当诵出“摩诃考摩陀姬(Mahākaumodakī)”之名,噢大力者。
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a Vedanga/ritual-technical context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
It gives a precise mantra-vidhi: the verse frames weapon-worship as disciplined arcana, using bīja-syllables (huṁ, phaṭ) for protection and obstacle-cutting, and ‘svāhā’ to seal the ritual intent—linking the rite to Vaiṣṇava divine power (Kaumodakī).
Bhakti here is expressed as reverential worship (namaḥ, arcana) directed to sacred emblems associated with the Lord; invoking Kaumodakī implicitly places the practice within Vaiṣṇava devotion rather than mere martial power.
It highlights mantra-prayoga and arcana-krama (correct ritual sequencing and utterance), a technical application aligned with Vedanga-style precision in phonetics and liturgical usage of bīja-sounds and ‘svāhā’ formulas.
