Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: monthly caturthī observance (starting Bhādrapada kṛṣṇa caturthī)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes that worship should be completed properly—pray, bow, and then ritually conclude the rite—while maintaining steady monthly discipline, which purifies intention and strengthens merit (puṇya) through regularity.
Bhakti here is expressed as reverent submission (praṇāma), heartfelt petition (saṃprārthanā), and faithful continuity (pratimāsa, atandritaḥ), showing devotion not as a one-time act but as sustained practice.
It relies on calendrical precision—identifying month (Bhādrapada), fortnight (kṛṣṇa pakṣa), and tithi (caturthī)—which aligns with Jyotiṣa/Vedāṅga-based pañcāṅga timing for vrata observance.
