切不可向忘恩之女致礼,也不可向凶暴或不净之女致礼;尤其是在会众之中、在祭祀殿(yajña-śālā)内,乃至在神祇的庙宇之中亦然。
Narada (teaching norms of sadācāra within sacred and public settings)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: raudra
It protects the sanctity of sacred and public spaces by prescribing disciplined speech and gestures; reverence (abhivādana) is treated as a ritual act that should align with dharma and purity of context.
Bhakti in the Purāṇic sense includes reverent conduct in temples and yajña settings; the verse implies that devotion is not only inner feeling but also careful, dharmic behavior in the Lord’s precincts.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) and ācāra-vidhi are implied: rules governing appropriate acts in yajña-śālā and devatāyatana, showing how ritual context determines what is permitted or prohibited.
