kṣatriyo'pi ca viḍvṛttimatyāpadi samāśrayet | nāśrayecchūdravṛttiṃ tu atyāpadyapi vai dvijaḥ || 31 ||
即便刹帝利在极端困苦中,也可取用吠舍之生计;但二次生者(dvija)纵在最严酷的危难里,也不应采取首陀罗之生计。
