自昴定(Dhruva)起,有些征兆被称为“二重命定”,另一些则在一又二分之一的时段内结出果报。右角高举者不被视为可取;然而在白分(śukla pakṣa,明半月)见到蚂蚁,则为吉兆。
Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames daily decision-making within Dharma by reading external signs (nimittas) and their timing, encouraging disciplined action aligned with auspicious conditions rather than impulsive choice.
While not directly teaching bhakti practices, it supports a devotional life by advising the devotee to choose favorable times and signs for sacred acts (japa, vrata, worship), minimizing obstacles and cultivating steadiness.
Jyotiṣa and nimitta-based muhurta logic: it classifies omens by the kind of result they yield (e.g., ‘double’ or ‘one-and-a-half’ measure) and gives an example of auspicious/inauspicious indicators (raised right horn; ant in Śukla pakṣa).
