一切行持——如节日(parvan)、宅地仪轨(vāstu)、斋戒等——皆应依月算而定。至于以“Prabhava”为首诸年的标志,则依导师星(Guru,木星)的度量而定。
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the Moksha-dharma and calendrical context)
Vrata: upavāsa (fasting; general)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It links dharma-practice to cosmic order: vows, festival observances, and rites should be performed at the correct lunar times, showing that spiritual discipline is harmonized with sacred time (kāla).
Bhakti is made steady through regulated observance—fasts and holy days are not random but aligned to the lunar calendar, helping devotees maintain consistent vrata and worship with scriptural timing.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa (astronomy/astrology): lunar reckoning determines parvan and fasting schedules, while Jupiter’s measure is used to define the Prabhava-type year characteristics (samvatsara system).
