Jyotiṣa-śāstra Saṅgraha: Threefold Division, Gaṇita Methods, Muhūrta, and Planetary Reckoning

为使结果昭然、数量分明:当以除为乘、以乘为除;以平方还其根、以根转为平方;以幂降为底、以底升为幂;并使负为正、正为负,以令其相显。
Sanatkumara (in dialogue instructing Narada on technical/practical knowledge supportive of dharma and clarity of understanding)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It emphasizes clarity (prasiddhi) and demonstrability in knowledge: disciplined, error-free understanding—whether in calculation or contemplation—supports dharma and steadies the mind for moksha-oriented living.
Indirectly: bhakti thrives on right understanding and steadiness; the verse models how confusion is removed through correct method—similarly, devotion becomes firm when one applies proper discipline and clears doubts.
A technical, ganita-like rule-set: using inverse operations (division ↔ multiplication), transforming squares and roots, handling powers and bases, and managing positive/negative values to verify a numerical result.
