Narada (teaching technical computation in the Purana’s Vedanga-style section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It emphasizes that dharma and vrata-timing depend on precise kala (time) knowledge; correct computation supports right action performed at the proper muhurta.
Indirectly: by teaching accurate sacred timekeeping, it safeguards the proper observance of devotional rites and vows performed for Vishnu and other deities at the correct auspicious moments.
Jyotisha (Vedanga astrology/astronomy): a computational rule using the Sun’s motion rate, the Moon’s traversed arc (bhukti), and output in lipta (minutes) for deriving a required timing/result.
