由相等(偶)的数字可得平方;智者称之为“kṛti”(平方)。但若末位数字为奇数,则舍去该末位,应将“kṛti”另置为独立的“mūla”(根/基)部分。
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in an instructional, technical register)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It highlights disciplined, step-by-step discernment (viveka) through precise method—using ordered analysis as a support for clarity of mind, which is repeatedly valued in Moksha-dharma teachings.
Indirectly: it models the careful, rule-based approach that also applies to bhakti-sadhana—steadiness, correctness, and separation of essentials from non-essentials—so devotion is practiced with clarity rather than confusion.
A technical, algorithmic style of instruction akin to Vedanga-oriented learning (systematic rules and operations), emphasizing how precise definitions (kṛti, mūla) and conditional steps (even/odd) guide correct practice.
