Advaita

ṛbhuruvāca | narādhipo'tra katamaḥ katamaścetaro janaḥ | kathyatāṃ me dvijaśreṣṭa tvamabhijño mato mama || 74 ||
利布说道:“此处谁是人中之王,谁又是另一人?噢,二次生者中的最胜者,请告诉我——因为我认定你确是明知之人。”
Ṛbhu
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It highlights the traditional purāṇic method of spiritual transmission: sincere inquiry (praśna) directed to a qualified knower, which becomes the doorway for dharma and mokṣa teachings.
While bhakti is not named directly here, the verse models humility and receptivity toward a wise brāhmaṇa—an attitude that supports bhakti by honoring spiritual authority and seeking clarity before practice.
The verse reflects the Vedic discipline of structured inquiry and precise identification (a vyākaraṇa-like concern for exact reference), though it does not teach a specific Vedāṅga technique or ritual detail.
