愿你依次第之创生次序,清晰开显诸王族世系的故事。主啊,在通达《往世书》诸传记方面,无人能胜于你。
Narada (addressing Sanatkumara / a supreme Purāṇic narrator in the dialogue frame)

It highlights the Purāṇic ideal of transmitting sacred history in a disciplined sequence—creation, then lineages—so that dharma, kingship, and cosmic order are understood as one coherent tapestry.
By honoring the teacher as the foremost knower of Purāṇic lore, the verse models śraddhā (reverent faith) and attentive listening (śravaṇa), which are foundational limbs of bhakti practice.
The emphasis is on correct sequencing and clear exposition—skills aligned with Vyākaraṇa (precision of expression) and Itihāsa-Purāṇa methodology used for structured teaching and recitation.
