Suta (summarizing the Narada Purana’s contents in an anukramanika sequence)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It functions as a topic-index verse: by listing mind-born creation, Rudra’s origin, Śiva’s manifestations, and the sages’ creation, it frames cosmic evolution as an ordered, intelligible sacred history rather than random events.
Indirectly: by highlighting Rudra/Mahādeva and the ṛṣis, it points to the Purāṇic model where devotion is learned through divine exemplars and transmitted through sage lineages that preserve and teach dharma and worship.
The verse is primarily an anukramanika (contents-summary) and cosmology marker; it does not teach a specific Vedāṅga rule, but it supports Purāṇic structuring of knowledge—topic sequencing used for study, recitation, and textual navigation.
