Suta
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It functions as an anukramaṇikā (table-of-contents style) marker, indicating that the Purāṇa proceeds from Trivikrama’s episode to Lakṣmī’s sacred narrative and then to Prahlāda-associated tīrtha traditions—signposting a devotional and pilgrimage-oriented progression.
By linking Trivikrama (Viṣṇu’s divine act), Lakṣmī (divine grace and prosperity), and Prahlāda (ideal devotee) with tīrtha-yātrā and śubha-kathā, it frames bhakti as nourished through hearing sacred narratives and engaging in pilgrimage connected to exemplary devotees.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught directly; the verse is primarily an organizational cue for upcoming sections, especially the tīrtha-yātrā/mahatmya style material.
