Suta (Anukramanika/narrative index voice summarizing contents)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It functions as an Anukramanika-style pointer: it links spiritual attainment (Śivaloka) with the rise of liberating knowledge (jñāna) for a Śiva-oriented seeker, and then transitions the narrative to Nārada’s account connected with Marīci.
By describing the recipient as “śivātmā” (one whose inner self is aligned with Śiva), it implies that devotion and orientation toward the deity mature into higher states—attainment of the divine realm and the dawning of spiritual knowledge.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught in this verse; it is a structural summary line emphasizing jñāna arising through divine instruction (śivavākya).
