तस्य क्रुद्ध: कृपो राजन् शक्ति चिक्षेप दारुणाम्
tasya kruddhaḥ kṛpo rājan śaktiṃ cikṣepa dāruṇām
桑阇耶说道:大王啊,克利帕因对他怒火中烧,掷出一柄可怖的“沙克提”(śakti)神枪——此举更添战场的道德幽暗:愤怒屡屡压倒克制,而所谓职责竟以愈发致命的手段被追逐。
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how anger (krodha) drives warriors to extreme actions, suggesting an ethical warning: when wrath governs judgment, violence escalates and dharma becomes harder to discern and uphold amid war.
Sañjaya reports to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Kṛpa, enraged at his opponent, throws a dreadful śakti weapon, marking a sharp escalation in the combat described in this section of Droṇa Parva.
