द्रोणपर्व — पञ्चदशोऽध्यायः (Droṇa Parva, Chapter 15): युधिष्ठिर-रक्षा तथा अर्जुनस्य शरवृष्टिः
ततस्तूर्यनिनादाश्न शड्खानां च सहस्रश: । सिंहनादाश्न संजज्ञुभेरीणां च महास्वना:
tatas tūryaninādāś ca śaṅkhānāṃ ca sahasraśaḥ | siṃhanādāś ca saṃjajñuḥ bherīṇāṃ ca mahāsvanāḥ ||
三阇耶说道：随即，战号齐鸣，千百海螺之声轰然回荡。诸勇士发出狮吼，巨鼓的沉雷滚滚铺满四方——这不祥的武烈浪潮既鼓舞胆气，也预告着即将展开的滔天杀伐。
