रुद्रस्य विक्रमं दृष्टवा भीता देवा: सहर्षिभि: । ततः प्रसादयामासु: शर्व ते विबुधोत्तमा:,रुद्रका पराक्रम देखकर ऋषियोंसहित सम्पूर्ण देवता थर्या उठे। फिर उन श्रेष्ठ देवताओंने भगवान्‌ शिवको प्रसन्न किया

Transliteration

rudrasya vikramaṃ dṛṣṭvā bhītā devāḥ saharṣibhiḥ | tataḥ prasādayāmāsuḥ śarvaṃ te vibudhottamāḥ ||

Translation

诸神与众仙见鲁陀罗威势无匹，皆惊惧战栗。于是天众之首便设法安抚舍婆（湿婆），求得其欢心与恩许。
