शतक्रतुरुवाच मघवाहं लोकपथं प्रजाना- मन्वागमं परिवादे गजस्य । तस्माद् भवान् प्रणतं मानुशास्तु ब्रवीषि यत् तत् करवाणि सर्वम्
Śatakratur uvāca: Maghavāhaṁ lokapathe prajānām anvāgamaṁ parivāde gajasya | tasmād bhavān praṇataṁ mānuśāstu bravīṣi yat tat karavāṇi sarvam ||
沙多迦罗都（因陀罗）说道：“我，摩伽梵，因为那头象之事，在众人眼前蒙受非议与责难。因此我在你面前俯首归顺。请教我：人当行何等之事——你所吩咐的一切，我都将尽行。”
